If you install EditWrxPro on client websites (Discount Reseller) you can store your client's domain license on your parent domain and configure your client's installation to retrieve a 24 hour license from your parent every time they login. This allows you to charge your client a periodic fee for EditWrxPro. Simply remove their domain license from your parent's licenses file and their installation quits working.
The parent/client licensing requires you to install a compiled Perl executable on your parent domain. This executable receives the request from the client installation's toolbar. The executable looks up the client's domain license in a file listing all of your client domain licenses and validates the license. The executable then generates a 24 hour license and returns it to the client installation's toolbar.

Server-wide licensing is available only for Apache/Linux servers.
EditWrxPro can be installed with a single server-wide license. This allows all domains on the server to use the same license for EditWrxPro. The license is bound to the server's network card mac address and will only work on that physical machine. The server-wide license is $400.00 per year and must be renewed each year.
The full program is installed in only one domain on the server (parent). Other domains (children) contain only the edit.cgi file and their own /txts folder & files. Updates are done only to the parent installation. The parent domain contains a compiled executable which validates all uses of the parent files by the child installations.
The parent can allow any and all domains on the server to use the parent just by installing the child files in the child domain (easily added to skelton template systems for domain initial setup). Optionally, the parent installation can contain a list of allowed domains (or a list of not-allowed domains) to turn domain usage on or off.
A server-wide installation can be complex, depending on the server type and configuration.
On request, installation and testing will be done by EditWrxPro staff.
To fully test, an installation must be done at the parent domain, and on one child domain. Files in parent domains must be readable and executable by cgi processes in other domains, on Unix that means that the parent domain's root directory must have 0755 permissions. A two week trial server-wide license is available for evaluation.
